Oluwagbemiga Dasylva is a scholar of Peace and Conflict. His specialty areas are peacebuilding, peacekeeping, humanitarian aid, and sustainable development. Dasylva is currently working as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, George Mason University, USA. His research addresses peacebuilding processes in the Horn of Africa, while interrogating Western prescriptions to local African problems within continuously and contingently globalizing contexts. He has a fascination for working on the culture of development organizations as exemplified in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in developing economies in Africa. Dr-to-be-Dasyla delivers exceptional support within academic and research teams and adapts flawlessly to new and challenging environments. He is actively seeking opportunities where these skills can be used to create a positive impact in social and community contexts.
